Henry and Lesha James, Jr. serve as Lead Pastors of Thompson St. Tabernacle of Praise Church. They have committed their lives to impacting the city of DeLand with a message of love and expanding the kingdom while raising up sons and daughters equipped with the power of God to change lives. Together they have led TOP Church’s efforts in caring for our local community, pastoring leaders, developing programs to care for disadvantaged families, nurturing strong marriages, and Volusia through The TOP Christian Life Center, and have most recently founded the TOP Child Care Facility, TOP Academy and TOP Outreach Ministry to raise up and release kingdom-minded leaders. With over 36 years of experience in ministry, he’s an Ordained Bishop (Church of God Cleveland, TN) in July 1999 with a Bachelors of Applied Science in Management and Supervision from Daytona State College. Henry and Lesha has been married 38 years. She is the president of our women’s ministries department, in which she teaches the women how to reach their full potential for God.  They have four children all serving in ministry and the proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren.
